"Lyman County Historical Book" of South Dakota, . Anyway in the Lyman Historical books is the history of the Loudners and the Carpenter families.
I search out the Register of Indian Families in Crow Creek (I have a microfilm xerx copy, it is in very small print so forgive me on the mispelled names). I can't read if it is Lower Yankton or Lower Yanktonai.
Page 3 Crow Creek Agency, Register of Indian Families: gives Indian name, English name and Allotment name.
#62 Louis Loudner age 30, half white, Lower Yaktonai, husband, married, Father is Loudner, Mother name is not given.
#63 Mary Loudner age 29, 3/4 white, Lower Yanktonai, wife, married legally. Father is Briggs Mother is Sacred Hand.
#64 Freddie Loudner, age 10, 3/4 white, Lower Yanktonai, son, Father is Louis Loudner, mother is Mary Briggs.
#65 Frachis Loudner, age 7 3/4 white, Lower Yanktonai, son, father: Louis Loudner, mother: Mary Briggs.
#66 Alice Nora Loudner age 4, 3/4 white, Lower Yanktonai, daughter, father: Louis Loudner, Mother: Mary Briggs
